Vladimír Ohlídal Art Gallery Luhačovice – that’s the full name. It focuses on paintings, graphics, drawings, chamber sculptures, statues, wall tapestries and artistic glass. The exhibited works are usually for sale. So you can purchase a truly original souvenir from Luhačovice. You can buy artistic works here not only from Czech artists, but you’ll also find represented authors from Slovakia, Germany, Russia and Armenia. Paintings clearly predominate here. These are complemented by works made from wood and wire. Throughout the year, “Small Author Exhibitions” are held here. These feature leading figures from the Czech art scene, international artists and talented young graduates from art schools.

The gallery was established on the Luhačovice colonnade in 1960. At that time, the Czech Fine Arts Fund began organising prestigious exhibitions of visual art by renowned artists in Luhačovice. In 1970, Vladimír Ohlídal took over the premises. In the 1990s, the gallery was renamed Art Gallery. Since 1995, Jana Ohlídalová has been the director, thanks to whom the offering has expanded to include international artists. Currently, the gallery sells original works of art.
