Course content

You’ll gain new insights into espresso preparation. You’ll learn how proper espresso should taste and the correct preparation process. We’ll explain how to make excellent cappuccino and you’ll try the proper milk steaming technique. You’ll master latte art techniques. You’ll receive information about alternative brewing methods. You’ll experience guided coffee cupping. You’ll discover the flavours of specialty coffee and learn about it. You’ll understand the difference between Arabica and Robusta. You’ll complete your knowledge about coffee harvesting and processing. You’ll acquire technical information about coffee machines and grinders. You’ll learn how to operate the coffee machine and other equipment. You’ll gain proper procedures for maintaining and cleaning coffee machines. Does customer service give you wrinkles? You won’t fall behind here either – you’ll gain basic information about working in a café, including health and safety. You’ll discover what’s important in customer communication.
